What it does
Two or three plain sentences
Postklar reads the letter and tells you what it is about, without the official wording.
Deadlines in your calendar
It finds the deadline, even the one hidden in the legal notice at the end, and adds it to your calendar.
Every number checked
Amounts, IBANs and reference numbers are compared with the letter and copied with one tap. Anything uncertain is flagged.
Ask and answer
Ask what happens if you do not pay, or draft a reply: an objection, a payment plan, a request for more time.
A filing cabinet that sorts itself
Each letter is filed by sender: tax office, job centre, health insurer, landlord. Searchable and synced with iCloud.
Private by default
Letters are not stored on our servers and not used for AI training. Private mode analyses on the iPhone only. No account.

Questions and answers
Which letters does Postklar explain?
Letters from German authorities and offices: the tax office (Finanzamt), the job centre, health insurers, the broadcasting fee (Rundfunkbeitrag), landlords and similar senders. You photograph the letter or open a PDF.
Which languages are the explanations in?
German, English, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Polish and Arabic. The letter stays German, the explanation comes in the language you pick.
Does it find the deadline?
Yes. Postklar looks for the deadline in the letter, including the legal notice at the end (Rechtsbehelfsbelehrung), and can add it to your calendar.
Is it legal advice?
No. Postklar explains letters, it does not replace legal advice. When a letter looks like one you should not handle alone, it says so and links to free advice services.
What happens to my letters?
They are not stored on our servers and not used to train AI. In private mode the analysis runs only on your iPhone. There is no account and no email needed.
What does it cost?
Three letters are free. After that there is Postklar Pro, monthly or yearly, shared with up to six family members, or a pack of five letters.
