Receipts and serial numbers
Photograph a receipt and Roomkeep suggests store, date and total off the paper. Serial numbers come off the nameplate with a live scanner.

A readiness dashboard shows how much of your catalog has photos, prices and proof.

Questions and answers
Why do I need a home inventory for insurance?
After a fire, a flood or a burglary the insurer asks what you owned, what it was worth and what proves it. A list written from memory misses half of it. Roomkeep records each item with a photo, a price, a room and the receipt or serial number behind it.
How long does it take to document a home?
An evening for most homes. The camera stays open between shots, so you walk through a room and photograph what matters: electronics, jewelry, tools. Receipts and serial numbers come off paper and nameplates with the scanner.
Does it read receipts?
Yes. Photograph a receipt and Roomkeep suggests the store, date and total off the paper. Serial numbers are read from the nameplate with a live scanner. You confirm before anything is saved.
What does the insurer get?
A PDF report, a spreadsheet, or a complete archive with every photo. The archive is readable without Roomkeep. A readiness dashboard shows how much of your catalog has photos, prices and proof before you ever need it.
Where is my inventory stored?
On your device. No server, no account, no network requests. iCloud sync between your own devices is optional and part of Pro. Free covers one property, one room and thirty items; Pro is $29.99 once, not a subscription, and one purchase covers iPhone, iPad and Mac.
